Top 6 Espresso Martini's in Aspen

Top Espresso Martinis in Aspen

Après Ski in Aspen is more than just day-drinking or drinking on the slopes. It's a lifestyle and we are here for it - even during the summer with the fresh mountain air. We certainly hope you already know this, but just in case: “après” is French for “after”. Après Skiing = After Skiing | Après Hours = After Hours.

There's no surprise Aspen has some of the best espresso martini's. Thanks to its robust and ever-evolving food and beverage scene, means there is no shortage of après spots worth adding to your itinerary. From sophisticated cocktails to world-class cuisine, these are the Après Hours fan favorite spots worth adding to your Aspen list.

Where to enjoy the best espresso martini's after the slopes:

Hotel Jerome Aspen

Hotel JeromeThe historic J-Bar at the Hotel Jerome ranks high among Aspen’s Après Ski culture. This inviting space is just a great place to sit and soak it all in after a long day of skiing; it's become a must-visit spot for espresso martini's and craft cocktails. In addition, it's dog friendly which means you can bring your pup too while enjoy some pick-me-ups. Pro tip: get there before the crowd and snuggle up next to the fire for the perfect vibe. In the summer, it definitely has one of our favorite patios.

Casa Tua Aspen

Casa Tua: A prime spot for people-watching, Casa Tua is an Italian restaurant that specializes in their famous espresso martini's. This sleek location offers amazing food and drinks with the best view of all - you might even spot a few celebrities here. Pro tip: Check to see if your concierge can arrange for you to dine there.

Clarks Oyster Bar Aspen

Clark's Oyster Bar: A true fan favorite according to our recent Après Hours Instagram poll. We went for a visit (and of course had to review their Espresso Martini). First off, the interior design is a dream, and the fireplace makes it extra cozy on those snowy Aspen evenings. A+ to their service and of course their delicious espresso martinis. Hooch Aspen Cocktails

Hooch: Find yourself immersed in a speakeasy-style bar with exposed brick walls, eclectic artwork, chandeliers and comfy leather couches and chairs. This glam, lower-level hideout has one of our favorite espresso martini's; it’s also a great stop if you’re into sipping whiskey and other spirits. Hooch is known for the best cocktails in town. (Photo Courtesy: Hooch)

The Little Nell

The Little Nell: Location is everything. As you ski down on Aspen Mountain, you'll spot their famous AJAX Tavern which links directly to The Little Nell. This is Aspen’s top spot to see and be seen. Pro Tip: Order a side of truffle fries with your espresso martini.

Matsuhisa Aspen

Matsuhisa: If you are looking for a restaurant with a sexy vibe, it's Matsuhisa, the namesake restaurant of chef Nobu Matsuhisa, is the place to go. The Espresso Martini's are one of a kind; not too sweet, not too bitter. Bonus: truly every bite on this menu is meant to be savored.  (Photo courtesy: Matsuhisa)
